ABOUT>

Los Angeles born then raised in the mountains of Virginia, Tommy headed south to New Orleans with the intent of blending these American cultures together.  He studied music in the birthplace of jazz and eventually wound up in a blues group where he realized all of the styles of his country came from this source.
Since then, he has blended his blues influenced music with the colorings of folk and jazz from the early 1900’s all the way to current popular artists, with the intent of finding hidden sources of forgotten sounds, and combining them with new styles to create his sound.  Early influences include: Paul Simon, Bob Dylan,  and Dave Matthews Band, but has passed through artists like Dr. John, Muddy Waters, and Donnie Hathaway to create a sound that has been described as drawing from “The Band”, The Wood Brothers, and Leon Russell.
He has taken his love of the acoustic guitar, organ, piano, and Wurlitzer and created something new, while staying in the tradition of the songwriter and what he describes as “Americana”.  Tommy now resides in the Triad area of North Carolina where he is focused on building a stronger arts community for local artists.

Be on the look out for his self released music.  Songs will be released periodically throughout the coming months until the full album is completely available.
Produced/Mixed/Mastered by Grammy winner Joe Quinde.
